Featured artist: Erin Oostra

Owner + curator Erin Oostra is a Washington-based painter and visual designer best known for her impressionistic landscape paintings. Her artwork will be featured at Nuwave Gallery as the Grand Opening Showcase through February 2023.

She embraces a multi-disciplinary approach to creation, melding her strategic experience as a product designer with her love for strong, fluid painting. Her influences include the Pacific Norwest landscapes and waterscapes, artists like Conrad Jon Godly, and the ever-evolving trends of the graphic design world.

Erin’s work has been featured in galleries, restaurants, cafes, event venues, wineries, and breweries all across the Pacific Northwest, and she continues to expand her reach.

The opening show is titled Presence to Present and highlights the Central Washington landscape – how it guides us in bringing the presence of those before us into our own present
