Paper Trails: Conservation and the Spirit of Ellensburg

Ellensburg’s Nuwave Gallery is proud to present Paper Trails: Conservation and the Spirit of Ellensburg, an exhibition celebrating the intersection of nature, community, and creativity through the versatile medium of paper. This dynamic show brings together a talented group of artists and designers whose works reflect the beauty of the Pacific Northwest and the importance of conservation efforts.

From bold graphic posters to intricate hand-printed designs, Paper Trails showcases how art can inspire environmental awareness and a deeper appreciation for the natural world. The exhibit will run from April to May 2025, with a portion of proceeds benefiting KEEN (Kittitas Environmental Education Network), a local non-profit dedicated to environmental education and preservation. A special highlight of the show’s second month will feature poster designs from Central Washington University (CWU) design students, further fostering a creative connection between the community and emerging artists.

Whether through large-scale posters, intricate hand-printed designs, or bold graphic works, each piece in the show highlights the deep connection between art and nature.

By showcasing these works at Nuwave Gallery, Paper Trails aims to inspire conversations around conservation and encourage both artists and patrons to reflect on the importance of preserving the beauty that surrounds us.
