WOODWORK ART IN WASHINGTON STATE

“FOUND FORM” WOOD ART EXHIBIT: July 5th - SEPTEMBER 2ND 2025

Nuwave Gallery highlights 5 different woodworkers in their show "Found Form." This exhibition explores the theme of POSSIBILITIES, showcasing the boundless creative potential of woodworking.

Wood, with its remarkable adaptability and natural beauty, provides an infinite range of creative opportunities—from detailed carvings to striking, contemporary designs. The theme "Possibilities" encourages our talented artists to experiment with new techniques, challenge their creative limits, and showcase the astounding versatility of wood as a medium. We hope this theme will ignite the imagination of everyone, highlighting the boundless potential that woodworking offers.

Amanda Whitworth (@_sawdustandsoul) | Amanda is Pacific Northwest Wood Artist inspired by the beauty all around us and her personal health journey with cancer over the last 20 years. Laura Burkhart (@lauraburkhart) | Nature inspired sculptural woodwork that plays with shape, form and negative space. Using the organic texture of the wood as design elements in each piece, this work is an expression of life through its juxtaposition of fluid wood grain and geometric patterns.

Woodworking pieces are the perfect addition to your home decor, offering a unique blend of functionality and artistry. Each piece of handcrafted woodwork not only serves as a practical item but also as a statement of style and individuality. The warmth and natural beauty of wood bring a sense of coziness and elegance to any space, making it a versatile choice for both contemporary and traditional interiors. Whether it's a finely carved sculpture, a modern minimalist design, or a beautifully crafted piece of furniture, woodworking art adds character and a touch of nature to your home, creating an inviting and personalized atmosphere.
