At Nuwave Gallery, art isn’t just something we showcase—it’s how we connect with our community and support meaningful causes. Through our Back to the Burg program, we’re thrilled to once again partner with the Ellensburg Downtown Association to help restore the town’s historic murals. These iconic pieces are a visual representation of Ellensburg’s rich heritage, and this project ensures they continue to shine for generations.
At Nuwave Gallery, we channel our artistic passion into preserving Ellensburg’s vibrant rodeo heritage. The Back to the Burg program plays a vital role in this effort, with contributions from our Community Wall, where anyone can donate 8.5x11 art, and 100% of proceeds go directly to mural restoration. Additionally, Fortuity Cellars enhances this initiative with their Artist-Label wine giveback program, donating $5 per bottle sold. Together, these efforts unite art lovers and the community to celebrate and preserve Ellensburg’s unique identity.
Nuwave’s Community Wall: A Canvas for Everyone
One of the easiest and most inspiring ways to contribute is through our Community Wall at Nuwave Gallery. This space is open to everyone—whether you’re an established artist or someone creating art for the first time. Bring in any 8.5x11 piece of art, and we’ll proudly display it.

Donate Your Art: Create something meaningful—perhaps even at our Free Paint Night on February 19th—and bring it to the gallery.
100% of Sales Benefit the Cause: When your piece is sold, every dollar goes directly to the Mural Restoration Project.
Our Community Wall is a wonderful way for locals to showcase their creativity while making a tangible impact. This initiative highlights the incredible spirit of collaboration in Ellensburg, where anyone can step forward and contribute to something bigger.

If you’re looking for inspiration or want to create something for the Community Wall, join us at our Free Paint Night on February 19th from 5-8 PM. We’ll provide the materials—you just bring your creativity and passion for supporting local art. It’s a perfect opportunity to make art, meet fellow creatives, and learn more about the mural project. Plus, Fortuity’s delicious wines and snacks will make the evening even better.
