Amanda Sedy:

Amanda's love affair with the outdoors began when her now husband of 11 years took her on her first hike at 17 years old. Some of her fondest memories are those quiet, reflective moments of awe hiking and backpacking in the middle of the mountains or on the shores of the sea. She strives to bring those contemplative, beautiful moments into our everyday lives through her mixed media art.

Come experience the essence of the Pacific Northwest at Nuwave Gallery's First Friday Art Walk on April 5th! Our event, Pinnacle, celebrates the beauty of our region's mountains and the integral role artists play in our community.

Featuring the works of talented artists such as Amanda Sedy, Erin Oostra, Hailey Lindsey, Jes Lilly, Morgan Smalley, and Amanda Whitworth, Pinnacle showcases art inspired by mountain summits, personal milestones, and the culmination of artistic journeys.

Enhancing the evening's ambiance is live music Riley Schmit, a versatile local musician with a distinctive sound who you may recognize from being active in the Kittitas County music scene with several bands. From mellow interpretations of popular music to twangy originals, you’ll be sure to recognize a good portion of his genre-spanning setlist.
