Supporting Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity
How Nuwave Gallery and Fortuity Cellars Are Giving Back
At Nuwave Gallery and Fortuity Cellars, community is at the heart of everything we do. Since we opened our doors in Ellensburg, we’ve made it our mission to contribute to the vibrant, creative, and caring spirit that makes this town such a special place. One of the ways we live this mission is through our give-back program, which is designed to support local causes that uplift our neighbors. This quarter, we are thrilled to announce our partnership with Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity, an organization making a tangible difference in the lives of families right here in our community.
The Give-Back Program: ‘Back to the Burg’
Our give-back initiative, called ‘Back to the Burg,’ focuses on supporting local non-profits that share our vision of community-building. Each quarter, we select a local organization to support through both monetary and in-kind donations, offering a portion of our proceeds to further their important work. For this quarter, we couldn’t be more excited to partner with Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity, whose mission aligns perfectly with our values of helping others and making our community a better place to live.
Through the sale of select bottles at Fortuity Cellars and a portion of the sales from art at Nuwave Gallery, we will be contributing directly to Habitat for Humanity's efforts. As we encourage our customers to sip, shop, and support, every purchase will play a part in building homes, hope, and brighter futures for local families in need.
The Community Art Wall: Supporting Artists and Giving Back
Another key element of our give-back efforts is the Community Art Wall at Nuwave Gallery. This permanent installation showcases artwork from a variety of local and emerging artists, offering a platform for their work to be seen while giving back to the community. Every piece of art sold from the Community Art Wall contributes to our quarterly non-profit partner—in this case, Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity. This initiative not only helps artists gain exposure but also strengthens the bond between art and community development, as the proceeds directly benefit families looking to build safe, affordable housing.
Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity: Building Homes, Building Hope
Habitat for Humanity’s mission is simple yet powerful: they bring people together to build homes, communities, and hope. Here in Kittitas County, they have been hard at work helping local families achieve the dream of homeownership. Through volunteer efforts and donations, Habitat for Humanity constructs affordable homes for families who otherwise may not have the opportunity to own a home.
But Habitat for Humanity does more than just build homes—they help create stability and self-reliance for families, breaking the cycle of poverty. Their work transforms lives, providing a strong foundation for generations to come.
In Ellensburg, Habitat for Humanity is not just a builder of homes, but a builder of community. They rely on the support of local businesses, volunteers, and donors to make their vision a reality. By working together, they empower families to create a safe and stable future, which in turn strengthens our entire community.
Join Us in Supporting Habitat for Humanity
We invite everyone to join us in supporting Kittitas County Habitat for Humanity this quarter. Whether you stop by Nuwave Gallery to explore the latest art on display, purchase a bottle of wine from Fortuity Cellars, or contribute directly to Habitat’s mission, every effort makes a difference. Together, we can help more families in Ellensburg build a place to call home and foster a stronger, more connected community.
